Lifetime License Question

I bought the lifetime Hunting/Fishing License a few years back. I lost my wallet and that card that they swipe to print off your licence was in it.

Question:


How do I get a replacement card? (Yes I know, contact TPWD. figured that one out ) But I was looking on their site and can't really find anything. I was hoping somebody can post a link. Or would I be better calling? And can Academy, walmart, whatever print your license by just your DL? Or do I HAVE to get the replacement card?

I have lost my regular license and anybody that sells license can reprint it I would think they could do the lifetime as well.

I saw on the website that I can order a new plastic card. (for the Lifetime conmbo) And that's what I really need.


I lost my paper one a few years back and had to get a re-print. Cost like $10 I think. I'm curious to see if I can get a NEW license since I have the lifetime and all with just my DL. I didn't see anything on the site about that. I may try it out next deer season.....

I think It's up front. That's how I paid for mine. I bought the combo when it was $1,000. They're up to $1,800 now!!

My dad got his when they were $500!


You can get either the Hunting only or Fishing only for $1,000 and then upgrade to the combo later for $800. But that's about the only payment plan I think....

It's definatley worth it. Like you said, the fees will do nothing but go up. Right now if you bought the lifetime combo you'd save money after 27 years if you bought the super combo each year and prices stay the same. They're not going to go down, so I'd be willing to bet you'd start saving money in 20 years. In about 16 years I'll have broken even if the prices stay at $68 for the combo.


If you hunt and fish each year and have 20+ years left to hunt and fish, lifetime is the way to go

Yeah I put my order in 2 weeks before the increase I may bite it again and get it for Maddison soon. I'll for sure get it for her before it goes up again.

And I should have gotten mine when they were only $300. Back then, that was a lot of money, especially when it only cost $6 for a license!!!

I've never even swiped my card I just tell them it's a lifetime and I guess they have it in the system
