Disc cooker meals. What is your favorite?

    I boil mine for 10 mins first then add them to the discada with some oil and add some dry spices. Stirring occasionally, once they are almost done I'll add some of the sauce I want and cook till golden brown. Remove, place into a large metal mixing bowl, add the rest of the sauce, toss around and call it good.

        Disc cooker meals. What is your favorite?

        Calling all disc pros. I just refurbished this old rusty disc cooker. Sanded all the rust off and heated and oiled and seasoned repeatedly. This is the end result. After reading most of this thread should I be concerned about the pits in the iron?

              It will cook but it would be so much better if your took a grinder and wirebrush wheel to it. It makes it mirror smooth except for the pits. That looks like its not clean. Got residue on it.

                I did. I think it's just the picture. There is no residue. Only pitting

                            This right here. Discada is the best thing to cook in a disco. Is that shrimp? You use pork shoulder, bacon, chorizo, fajita, ham and hotdogs as well?

                                Agreed. I got a new smoker with a discada stand on it so I will not have to haul a stand around when I pull the pit.
