Marble Falls area

My wife and I are thinking about taking a little trip (with my 4 year old son) to Hidden Falls Adventure Park and ride our Prowler on the trails. This will likely be a long weekend trip in March.

What else is there to do in that area to satisfy two (late 30's) adults and a 4 year old?

Longhorn Caverns is a great place to take a young one. My 4 year old has been twice already. The Maxican is a good place to eat in Burnet, I really like Franchescos in Marble Falls. Great breakfast at Blue Bonnet Cafe in Marble as well. Marble Falls also has a bowling ally, movie theater, and the drive down Park Road 4 is a beautiful one. You could also paddleboat or fish at Inks Lake State Park if the weather is nice.

This^^^.....and downtown Marble Falls is a good place for your wife to antique shop while you squeeze off a few rounds at Copperhead Creek.

Bella Sera is good Italian food, Super Taco for Mexican and Bluebonnet cafe is a winner too.

Be sure to hit the mudpit in that prowler!!! That place was a blast when we went.

Marble Falls is great. For a quick day trip you can hit Inks lake state park and longhorn Cavern in the morning, go have lunch at the Tamale King ( great Mexican food and Margaritas) then go out to the fall Creek Vineyard in Tow. If you come in the summer there is a neat little water park in Cottonwood Shores.
