    garage door ?

    the garage door opener doesnt work alot of mornings when the temp is below 30. what can fix this?

              If its a screw drive the grease in the rail can get hard and make it hard for the screw to turn.

                Possibly need to adjust the amount of force if the grease in the track/ mechanism is getting too thick

                Possibly need to clean out the grease in the track if that's the problem (put lots of cardboard on the ground and spray the **** outta it with WD40- WD dissolves grease which is why you should never use it on bicycle gear hubs or anything with grease that you want to remain greased. That's what the opener manufacturer told me when I had the bright idea years ago to use wheel bearing grease to lube my garage door opener mechanism (not a good idea).

                  Track and wheels might need oiled/ lubed. I use a spray white lithium grease.

                    Yep, WD40. Mine used to do it all the time until I sprayed WD-40.

                    But wear a rain suit.
