My first try at Tri Tip Steak

I never heard of it either until a guy at work was talking about it. I think its part of the sirloin maybe??? I seasoned mine like a steak and cooked it for about 45 minutes over charcoal until medium cooked. Let it rest for 5-7 minutes after i pulled it from the pit, the( very important) sliced it across the grain into brisket like slices. The whole cut itself looks like a minature brisket
