    Fraying string

I just noticed on my new bow that the string is fraying a little. I have kept it well waxed and only had it a few months. I was planning on replacing the string anyway but not this soon. Can I shoot safely until I get my new string?

Got a picture of it??? Hard to tell from a mere description.. if its just a little bit, sure shoot it, but if its a big fray, dont risk it..

Is it like little hair frays or several strands? If its just the fine hair-looking fibers, a little wax and it should be fine. IF YOU HAVE ACTUAL STRANDS BROKE.....DON'T DO IT.

Yep, like the others said, if it's a little fuzz, don't worry about it, but get it replaced soon. If it's any broken strands then don't shoot it at all!!!
          What kind of bow/strings?
