Average Size for a Doe ??

I've taken several for in the short time I've been hunting. Most of them weighing 70-85 lbs. Last weekend this year I took one that weighed 92 lbs. I was pretty pleased

That's about average in my parts but have seen them in the 105-110 dressed.

I guess it depends on the area. Here in east Tx on our place a grown doe weighs anywhere from 70 to 90 lbs. Some of the really old ones may go a little more. A 92 lb one is definitely a good one. Congrats!!

That's prolly average size. But I've seen some killed that weighed about 120. And I seen one this year that was just a monster looked like she had no legs.

i would have liked to have gotten a chance at one of these two this year just to see what they weighed...

Most of the ones I have shot were about 85, but the last one I got was 95# and I thought she was sure nuff a big one.

We hunt in Edwards Co and a 100lb doe (live weight) is a good sized doe. Biggest taken this year was 126 lbs.

Thanks guys, 92 lbs is dressed out. It was a good year. Now I look forward to "Bownanza 2013" & possibly some 3D shoots.

100 lbs i think is average. Ive seen up to 120. But thats in Hardeman co.

I grew up in NW Oklahoma hunting in Kansas. Average for me is 125lbs, now I hunt in north texas average now 85lbs

All the does around here range around 80#. I get between 30 and 40 lbs of meat off most does.
