My dad was laid off a couple of months ago, and hes not having much luck finding work. Right now he is just doing odd jobs for people, painting, carpentry, flooring, but just having a hard time keeping up with the bills. I told him id help him out and post a thread here, who knows, maybe somebody has some leads. He has a bachelors degree in buisness administration. He also has an nccer certification in safety and holds a current electrical apprentice license. His most recent job was as a safety man for an industrial electrical contractor. He has 5 years experience working in a plant enviroment. He prefers somewhere in the Houston, Victoria, Goliad, or Kenedy area, but at this point I imagine hes pretty open minded to travel anywhere. Thanks for any help, yall can pm me if you have any info for some work for my pop.

My dad's in the same situation. It's hard to see someone you respect so much be in a bad place. As sons, all we can do is anything we can to help.
