Not worth skinning unless you plan on having it tanned for your own wall! If I hear anything different, I'll let you guys know!

RP Outdoors is running a route through the state or you can bring your hides to them if you wish. Odd how some will respond before actually checking or doing a little research.

I have trapped and hunted for most of my life and can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt the MOST Tx furswill never develop and get prime and fall way beyond what is desired by fur buyers..

Even the furs that I trapped in Oklahoma on a daily basis were somewhat borderline and only prime for about two months out of the year..

                From RP..

COYOTE N. LA.-E. TX type with good bellies & no broke hair on neck
                Dry--$10.00 & down.
                Green--$7.00 & down.
                No holes in Coyotes!

Saturday I sold an unskinned coyote for 5 dollars, gave one away and they didn't want the other one.

I did a lot of research first part of December. Could not find nobody doing a route in Texas. Buyers from up north would not even consider buying them.

Funny how some people think they know what other people have done.

I need one! Left my coyote mount in the garage for about four days (rained) and had rats get a hold of it and destroy it. I would be more than happy to buy a large skinned/unskinned coyote!
