    Anyone know what these are and do they have any value? They look like pellets for a pellet gun but larger..

          No value,they are still available from various sources, including Speer. As a side note, many years ago we loaded them hollow base up for defense loads in our .38 Special revolvers.

                I have loaded them backwards over 3.5 gr. of Red Dot. Very mild but huge hollow point load. Shot into clay banks, they will look like silver dollars when you dig them out.

                They were made with the hollow base so there would be room for the powder and let the bullet be loaded flush with the case mouth. They were a target load for several kinds of .38 automatic pistol and were the most accurate of thier day.
