I scored big today in Hempstead Walmart. 4 boxs win. 9mm, rem 223,rem., win. cci .22 & 2 box .38.

What did you score in the 223 dept? I've been in there several times looking for it and they usually only have a few boxes of rem core lokts. Guess I've been snoozing. LOL

Lol that's what I got them Rem CL 55gr. I've also been checking in at the indoor outdoor store in Bellville. Scored 4 Ruger 10/22 25 rounders, and 2ea 20 round AR mags. Heck my wife looks for Pmags for me. Good luck

Fort Worth cabelas had a lot of 223 last night but it looked like the day before Christmas in the guns and ammo section

add a cpiple more boxes of 12 guage shells and thats EXACTLY what it looked like at the Graham walmart this morning.

That's how they look around here. A little 12 & 20 not much anything else.

The ammo comes in from the warehouse trucks and if they are like my store we get trucks every night. Right now we can't even order the ammo it is blocked from home office. Unfortunately it is a crap shoot on when the ammo will show up. When it does it is gone fast.

Ok.....guess that explains why everyone else has inventory.

Yeah, like horn chaser said, I have had Walmart mgrs tell me they are on hold...wouldn't be surprised if the Walmart ammo days are numbered or carrying much less.

Humm.......maybe Wally world is going to leave the segment. Plenty of others that want to sell guns and ammo.

It is the same way all over the country go to academy or your local sporting good store

Both of my Academy's and the Pearland BPS had lots of stuff yesterday. Sounds like the smaller markets are being hit harder with less outlets. Heck, I didn't need nothing and still bought some. LOL!!! Pure hype & I got wrapped up in it! LMAO!!!

Walmart said about a week ago they weren't going to stop selling AR's so I hope the same remains true for the ammo. We'll see!

Oh they are restocking, I shop in the middle of the night and they are bringing in pallets of bullets. I bought four boxes of 223 and could have bought 40 45 9mm. 22 stuff seems to be hiding somewhere though. Doesn't seem to be quite the run on handgun ammo like a few years ago though. I wonder why this time is different.

Do they let you buy in middle of the night? My local Walmart wouldn't sell me ammo at 10:20pm...said they have to stop selling it at 10pm.

I've never heard of that but I'm going to mine and will ask. Were the Sporting Goods Sales Associates still working? If they'd already gone home, whoever you talked to may have just not wanted to get the keys to the ammo cabinet. I used to work in Sporting Goods and when we went 24hr, we always had people buy ammo after 10pm. If we werent there then a MGR came and unlocked the cabinet.

The lady had a key, but told me it was their policy to not sell ammo after 10pm. It sucked since they had exactly what I needed and when I returned after work the next day it was all gone.

Yes, anytime. If you can find whoever has the key. But I'm pulling it off of the pallets sometimes. Had a employee helping me do it the other night.

Edna Wal-Mart looks the same not a pistol round in the case except 1 box of 40's and few boxes of shotgun shells
