Youth Season Question Need Answer ASAP

Videoing a kid this morning. Thought I knew but now im doubting. Kids can shoot bucks right now?

I'm printing this from the TPWD handbook ;
LATE YOUTH ONLY SEASON - Jan 7 - 20 The season is open in all counties where there is a general open season for whitetail deer . All legal means and methods are allowed, except Collin, Dallas, Grayson, ans Rockwall counties, where lawful means are restricted to archery equipment and crossbow.

What county are you in ? I will post those regs for you too if it will help.

Yes. What ever is legal in your county at start of General Seasons is legal for Youth Season.
