I concur. I'm not to good at identifying snakes, but the brown patches on a Rat snake look like a turtle shape to me or a bear mount rug laying out flat on the floor.

you would of found me laying right next to that junction box dead from a heart attack. snakes give me the creeps but i'm getting better from the education i receive from the green screen. I use to think a good snake was a dead one but im learning.

I've opened terminals while up on the poles and had rat snakes in them. Pretty much all you can do is stand there and let them go their own way. The snakes didn't bother me, it was the bats that really bothered me. Of course then there were the wasp nests.
