Need help from gs photo gurus/experts

My buddy had a not so common pistol stolen from his truck on Christmas. The same make/model pistol is being advertised for sale by a guy that lives near him. I have a picture of the pistol but it is a little too blurry to read the serial #. Can any Green screen photo experts help clear the photo to ID the #s?? I can email it to you.

take the photo to the police. they have stuff to help clear things up like that

I don't have photoshop or lightroom at work but if someone else does not step up I could work on enhancing what you have later... Actually tomorrow as I have kid things immediately after work.

He is supposed to meet the guy to buy the pistol this evening. It isnt going to get away. Already know the guys name, address, email, phone#. Buddy wants the same Make\model pistol so he will buy it even it it isnt his. If we can get the pic cleared to read the #s he can have the LEO nearby when they meet.

I think the dude will get suspicious if he's the thief. He may bolt if he sees the guys truck too, if he drives his truck and not a different vehicle to the sale.

Buddy went and met with him. It wasn't his pistol. Just a coincidence of timing a location. He bought it and is happy.. Thanks for the help.
