On December 28th I lost my dad. He was 86 years old. I learned a lot from my Dad, most important, to believe in God. He also taught his kids and grandkids to enjoy the outdoors. We were taught to respect it and to leave it like we found it or improve it. He taught me to believe in treating the outdoors as if it was God’s front yard and we need to take care of it.
I don’t ever remember Dad ever missing one of our football games, track meets or any other school event we were involved in as kids. We might not have been the star of the team, but dad was there. You might not think that is important, but it is, it’s something that I haven’t ever forgotten.
Genesis 1:28
King James Version (KJV)
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Thanks dad.
