A quick look inside my life

My boys are my life...love them to death. I put a simple slide show together recently of some of the good times we have shared afield whether it be hunting, fishing or artifact hunting. I hope when they have a family of their own, the pass on the things that we have enjoyed together...so many journies along the way.

    Hope y'all enjoy.

Great job, dad. They will look back in manhood and share their past experiences with their children. Keep up the good work. I'm a firm believer that if we get our children into the woods, we won't have too get them out of jail. God bless.

This would be David Maracle who plays the indian spirit flute. Good stuff.

David R. Maracle is a world renown Artist, Multi-Instrumentalist, and Indigenous Knowledge keeper who works with Corporations, schools, communities in creating a positive understanding of Indigenous Culture, Teachings, Music & Art. David R. Maracle has been crafting his artistry since 1985, from the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, bringing to life the ancestral teachings of the Haudenosaunee People’s ways of life into his magnificent Stone Carvings. With every piece being unique, one-of-a-kind pieces, he has sold his carvings to many corporations, and private collectors alike, with that of the Estate of the Late Nelson Mandela owning a piece of his work, The Emperor of Japan, and many other famous collectors. His work has been featured on cheques across Canada, and has helped to encourage Indigenous Youth across the country to follow their dreams with their gifts they have within them. When David was not carving and in his studio making these masterpieces….He turned to another career in the form of meditation. Not only a World Renown Sculptor of Stone, David has released over 17 Musical compilations and albums over the last 18 years. David has received two Gold Records from the Recording Industry RIAA, for his world ambient sounds of the Iroquoian Flute, and Multi-Instrumental fusion of sounds, with rare world instruments that he has mastered over the last 18 years. He has also won various Canadian Aboriginal Music awards as well over his wonderful Musical career. He has performed his beautiful ambient music all over the world, including recently Austria,Pakistan, and at the Olympics in Australia; also to the Queen on her Silver Jubilee anniversary in Parliament. He has been also giving back to children in various communities, bringing his Indigenous teachings, culture, and art in the form of workshops; Medicine Wheel Teachings, Iroquoian Flute Teachings, and also Earth & Air Teachings to many communities across Canada and recently in Lahore, Pakistan. He is a role model for youth, in the Arts and Music Industry, and a humanitarian who stands for Indigenous peoples rights and awareness in a kind and generous manner.
