It's about a players peak years. Some view Biggio as a compiler. which he did, which is some credit to his longevity, durability, and his ability to evolve and move around the diamond. in the mid to late nineties he was the best at his position. just based on his numbers he is considered the 5th best 2nd basemen ever.
actually looking at the numbers, i was wrong. through 13 years all of Youngs numbers are superior to biggio's. if young just averages what he did this past year for 7 more years his numbers will blow biggio's away. and i really considered young to have a down year this year.
If Young can manage 7 more seasons to the Age of 43 at last seasons level, he will still have fewer 2B, HR, R, and SB than Biggio. Runs and Doubles (Biggio is top 15 ALL TIME in both) arent even comparable. Im not quite sure what you are referring to as far as "Blowing Biggio's away". Ill give Young Credit for his triples though.
