Clogged all of mine up good last year as well....might consider a filtered gravity feed approach with pvc and grate at the end to cap off.

i was also thinking this because, what if you had lets say just doe s that came into that area at the certain time you have it throwing? well they come and eat everything leaving nothing for your bucks and thats what u are wanting to grow?...I might be thinking crazy

Thanks for all of the advice. I have seen Antler Max in my area so am glad to hear the results with it have been positive. I might give that a try.

I also agree that feeding it from a spin feeder might be a waste from a deer growth standpoint - but at the same time I like knowing there is a variety of feed coming out of my feeder - versus the hunters around me.

I've been throwing close to a 50/50 mix of corn and Record rack for the last few years and haven't had a clog. Not to grow big bucks but just to add another flavor and price difference isn't like it used to be.
But we have very few deer and I have the healthiest coons, possums and skunks you've ever seen...

Check the feed bin for any small holes/leaks, lower the spinner plate, and you should be alright. I mix antlermax with our corn in December and January and have not had any problems so far.
