I am all for firing Jerry, but since that isnt going to happen, I will address reality. Ryan's scheme is just like his personality, all over the place. I am not disappointed with this move. they need a more focused scheme and disciplined defensive coordinator.

yup, Jerry ain't firing Jerry (read: Al Davis Jr) which would be the real answer, but Ryan was awful. How often did our defense try to line up and there was confusion? Against the Skins on Thanksgiving we had receivers galloping free in the secondary all day. Yes we had injuries. So does everyone else.

and Norv coming back to call plays and work with the QB would wonderful. Norv is a horrible head coach but I recall when he was the coordinator with a guy named Aikman...

Surely Norv is going to be Offensive Coach and they are just bringing in another defensive guy. I will say that I think Norv is like Wade, a real good coordinator and just not HC material. I for one am fine with Norv coming back for offense.

Micheal Irvin, and a few other glory day Cowboys that played for Norv have said he will be good for Romo AND Garrett. Jimmy Johnson also as said this on a radio show.

Die hard cowboys fan here. 46 years old so I've been watching them for a while and yes I was loyal during the 1 and 15 season of Troy's freshman year. I am done. Until Jerry Jones (which by the way will never happen) swallows his gargantuon pride the boys will not come back. I told all 115 of my employees that they would be 9 and 7 this year...............I missed it by 1. sad sad sad

The cowboys have taken a step back now sine the new Defense coordinator has to learn everything new which will take 2 years to get acclimated. I hear the reason for all the firings is that jerry jones is hiring norv turner as the off coord and he bring in his staFF

i think Norv can only help Garrett. i am all for it.
