Rapid Rails are the cat's meow...Cabela's may be the best place to get them.

I have a set in the garage I don't think I've ever used. Don't know that I would part with them, though. They're nice to have.

Although I have heard of them before I had never had any experience. A few months ago Sportsmans Guide sent me a sale alert for them at $39/set...I bought three sets. A few weeks ago was the first chance I have had to use them- I put a lock on stand in a tree for hog hunting. I will say that I wished I had bought more. They are so easy to use and very sturdy and I go a good 280 lbs.

Legdog loaned me his set a few seasons ago and they are incredible. Very easy to carry and use!

The ones on sale may be made of steel. I would pay the extra money for the aluminum for sure.
I love mine and have a set of five. They all nest together for easy storage and carrying. I bought mine from Non-Typical before he sold out. I have the clamp on stand that is by far the best I have used and I have used several. The rails strap on to the stand for a complete back pack style package.
                        A great product!!

I got a set from Sportsman's Guide a few years ago (much more than $39!!) and they are the aluminum, and I'm a huge fan. I'm tempted to buy another set at that price, and I don't even think I need them!

Come on Michael, when has "NEED" ever really entered into any actual outdoor hunting purchases

We've got several sets of rails.
Really enjoy them for the warm weather use.
Pretty quick and efficient to use after a little practice.

If you go out with larger boots (cold weather) it can be a little challenge getting your toe into the sections.
Be sure to pull directly down on the rails, it can make for some excitement if you pull from an angle without your body weight on them.
