Feedback on Smith and Wesson Shield

Reaching out to the green screen to see if they have any feedback. A friend of mine is looking at possibly purchasing this handgun if they can get their hands on one.

So far I am really impressed with mine. Shoots well, works fine. Being a Glock guy it took awhile to get used to the slimmer grip. I wuld highly recommend one.

Glad to hear, option two is the Glock. Thought the slimmer fit would be great for a ladies hand.

I don't own one but my Lieutenant carries one and he loves it. Says it shoots well and is easy to carry. Looks like it would be a great CC gun. The reviews that I've seen have been positive.

I'm in for this thread. I am interested in the shield to replace what I now carry. I've seen several reviews and all are good. I just can't find one in the stores.

Hitting the San Antonio gun show this weekend to find one myself.

Tough to find.....missed one at a Northside Academy by one day...darn the luck!

From what I've researched, it's one of the best small framed pistols out there and many L/E types are now using it for their backup gun. As it is....very hard to find since they are in serious demand right now.

I have on in a 40. Shoots and carries well. S&W have had problems with the mags falling out while shooting in the 40, they fixed that now.

If it lives up to the rest of the M&P line then it should be a great gun. I was looking for a single stack 'glock style' pistol a few years ago and went with the Walther PPS 9mm as my CC gun. If the shield had been available then I probably would have gone that route.
                    Good Luck.

I have the 9mm, Out of the 5 people that have shot it all of them have purchased one or are trying to find one to buy. It just shoots good. I have about 7--rounds thru mine and no hick ups.

Had one for a while. It was fine. Nothing spectacular about it. I shoot a 9c and didn't find enough difference to warrant keeping it. I now have a LC9 and actually kind of like it better though I know I'm in the minority on that.
