Dan Lockhart

I am starting to realize Dan Lockhart was more than a traditional shooter and many people were proud to call him their friend. I posted this in the traditional forum, but now I'm thinking it would be best posted here.

Dan Lockhart passed away on Sunday or Monday from pnenomia. His funeral will be a small service in his hometown, but there will be an open memorial in College Station on March 17. Grace Bible Church, 700 Anderson, 11am.

Dan and Carol rubbed warm elbows with a LOT of people. He's going to be missed greatly.

I shot with him at the TBOT shoot at Bugscuffle a couple of years back. Very nice guy.

I believe that Dan was the one who kept the TBOT web page going. I don't know what will happen to that now. I notices that it was down the last time I tried to check in. Any one have any information in that.

From the other thread:If this is the same Dan Lockhart, I shot with him quite a bit back about 10-15 years ago at the Dallas Texins Archery club. He was a cool guy to shoot with and was always friendly to all. Sorry to read of his passing, prayers sent...Does anyone have a current photo of Dan?
