    Video editing programs? Shooting video

Just curious.... What programs if any are you guys using to edit your video? I finally got a Gopro for Christmas and filmed a couple sessions. I purchased cyberlink power director 11 because the price was right. It got me thinking as to what other programs are out there. Can't wait to film hunts now....

Here's the video I shot today. No need to critic it....I will keep my day job.

Power director is all you will ever need. It's a great inexpensive but very good program. I have a friend that is an editor and before he went mac he used power director and he has his own tv show that he produces in TN. It called HITS OUTDOORS.

I have Final Cut Pro X but I have an imac 27 inch and a macbook pro to run them on. You will do fine. The biggest challenge is finding royalty free music at an affordable price. If you will pm me I will get you some links to some good places on the internet to find royalty free music.

Jason, may I suggest Avid Pinnacle Studio 16.

It comes in plus and ultimate versions.

The studio program is a very powerful program for the money; but there is a bit of a learning curve.

Best Buy stocks it...check it out....
