    Gun Safe Moisture

I noticed this week that a few of my guns have surface rust on them.

I have several silica bags and one canister. Do these things stop abosrbing moisture after awhile?

Yessir they do. Need to be refreshed by drying out at low temp in the oven. I got tired of messing with it and bought a goldenrod. No rust problems ever.

Yes, you have to change them out. I've had a GoldenRod Dehumidifier in mine for the past 10 years without any issues.
