Our rescue might be the smartest dog we have ever owned.
I can put him on the East side of the yard and he will break through the gate into the West side - open the back French Doors - go through the den, kitchen, hall, bathroom door, and lay on the bathroom rug waiting for you to get out of the tub.
It is like - Hi Bubba - uh - uh - I thought you were in the - - awwww - -

They say you only get one in a lifetime. Bubba will make number 2 of 8..

Did it again today. Blasted through the locked middle gate - hit the handle on the French doors and flew into his warm kennel in the corner. Back door wide open - 42ish outside... LOL
