I am not nearly as optimistic as you my friend. I am very concerned what Prezbo is going to do or not do in a number of areas. Many reasons to look beyond my own front door for good things to happen. I suspect my household will fair fine, but many others may not do as well.

My fears are a worsening economy, including excessive inflation and increased taxation, which will result in many not being able to make the money stretch to the end of the month. For some it will boil down to eating or keeping a stinking cell phone, no wait Uncle Sugar will make sure they have a phone.

I am very concerned about instability in the Middle East including Israel just to name a couple.

I am concerned that the number of takers will surpass the number of givers.

I am concerned the weeds seeds we, as a nation, have planted in the last few decades have taken root and will start to grow.

I am concerned, well never mind – I feel my BP raising, I better just shut up.

^^^^^^^ this is my fear, we wake in the morning having to make do with less so other people will have more by doing less. Our governing body needs a swift kick in the pants IMO.
          Carry on.

Come on guys don't make this a Political thread or it will get whacked by the higher ups!

Not sure how 2013 will end up yet. 2012 ended better than the last 3 yrs for my company.
All my business is based off my customers budgets so you never know what will happen till the ink hits the paper. Capital improvement budgets can get whacked in the blink of an eye. When the crash happened in Oct '08 things were still looking good for 2009. In Feb we usually start getting. Interacts for the upcoming year. In a week I lost over $600k of expected business which is about half my yearly sales. Made for a tough yr. but we survived.
Hope this will be a great year for all my TBH brothers and sisters!
              Happy New Year!!

Yes, & I can not wait. I am very optimistic about the company's out come for next year. Seems like every year we bring more customers on board, I can not wait to see the 2.5 mill every single month for next year.

I had a very good year and expect nothing less in 2013.

OKIEHUNTER dont worry about the middle east. those guys have been at each other for thousands of years. they will still be fighting long after we're gone.

I'm not typically a glass half full guy, I just have a good feeling about next year.

I hope everyone on here has a great 2013

I'm very blessed in my life, family, and business. Looking forward to 2013 here. I don't intend to waste much of my time wringing my hands over the ever-present negative things in the world. I'd rather focus on my also ever-present blessings and opportunities.

Iran has not had nukes for years and the US has backed Israel for years. I am not so sure the current administration will stand with Israel and that is threading on thin ice. If Iran attacks Israel, it will be a shot heard around the world.

My reply is not political, it is my opinion. There are lots of folks in the nation that are so close to negative cash flow that significant inflation or perhaps moderate inflation will place them in a negative cash flow position. There may be many companies in that same position. The one main driver of inflation will be the government printing money. Do you think they might print money to pay off debt?

A lot of you guys are too young to remember the 1970’s and early 1980’s. Inflation, which had averaged around 3% per year post-war, more than doubled after the 1973 oil shock to a 7.7% annual rate. Inflation reached 9.1% in 1975. By 1979, inflation reached 11.3% and in 1980 soared to 13.5%. To give you an idea of my concern if we have similar inflation rates as we did then it could create serious financial hardship on lots of otherwise hard working folks. I know, I was one that struggled in the 70’s. How much could it cost, what cost a fellow $100 in 1973 would cost $185 in 1980.
