Plasma cutter questions

Wanting to get a plasma cutter, what all is needed for operation of a plasma cutter, I know you need a compressor but is gas needed as well and if so, what kind?

No gas. A lot of Clean dry air is a must.

The 110v ones will disappoint you. Get 220 if you can afford it.

Yes. You will go through your consumables fast and get poor cuts. I run a dryer at the compressor and one at the machine.

And don't forget to build a cool cart for it. They are fun.

at work we have dryer at the compressor. and a two stage fine filter just before the cutter.

Before you get one pay close attention to the duty cycle. Not all machines are created equal.
