He did all the work and he is a master gunsmith but he is also getting up there in age too and I dont feel he is still up to par cause as good as he is I figured he would have double checked to make sure it was right before it left. I just feel he didnt pride himself on my gun as much as some of his other work. Ill just get someone else to fix, no big deal.

clearly those 2 bullets have a different ogive which is why 1 won't chamber

your chamber was not cut deep enough for bullets seated long

pretty sure your headspace is fine, chamber just needs to be cut a few 1000ths deeper with a finish reamer

by any chance do you have a fired .270 case ? if so you can use the case mouth as a comparator to measure the seating difference in both cases above
No I sure dont but im sure I can get one.

There is no need for a second test to eliminate. Your pic clearly shows marking around the shell throat about 3/16" from the shell throat into the body of the shell and then again around about a 1/2' from the head up caused by a very tight chamber.

Your rifle's chamber need to be cleaned out by running a new chamber reamer thru it. As it has been allready mentioned your rifle might have been chambered with a very well used and dull chamber reamer.

            Is this an easy fix?

Yes it is an easy fix but needs to be done by a gunsmith to make sure that the correct headspace is achived. It can be cleaned out a little bid to much and excessive headspace is dangerous.

Thanks for the help man I rarely shoot guns but I still want it to be right for when I do and not have to worry about if the bullets will fit. Cause it's a chance they won't every time I pick up a box. Sure can't walk in the store and start trying diff bullets haha that wouldn't end well.
