Meat grinder

Thinking of purchasing meat grinder, etc for making sausage and links. Any recommendations on good or bad. I wont be grinding alot of meat, maybe 2 deer a year. I have looked at Cabelas and they seem to have the best for the buck so far.

Ill have the 1hp cabelas grinder and it is worth every penny. Other people will say the northern tools grinder works well too. I also do more then 2 deer a year.

Buy the biggest you can afford with home grinders bigger really is better!!!

I just bought the Cabelas 1HP myself but spent 4 years with the Northern Tool Grinder for $99. It was a good grinder for the money. Many on here love theirs. Mine died after almost 5 years though.

I could buy 4 NT grinders for what I paid for my Cabelas grinder but where is the fun in that?.....
