    Las Vegas attractions in January?

Gonna spend a few days in Vegas. What are things to do for couples? I know there are lots of shows and we are going to have a few nice dinners and indoor skydiving, but what else? I'll be at the poker table a few times....

get a rent a car and drive up to Mount Charleston to the ski resort. Even if you don't ski you can drink hot chocolate and watch the snow bunnies.

There are better and cheaper places to go ski nearby. Go find you some muley and elk sheds

We did a hot air balloon ride and it was awesome. We also rented a car and drove to Hoover Dam and spent the day.

the first week in January is the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) not generally open to the public....coincidently it is scheduled opposite the Adult Expo aka the p*** convention which is open to the public

If it were me I would advise you to visit Death Valley aka Furnace Creek Ca. about an hour away, it actually lies below sea level and its beautiful and not hot that time of the year...

one of the other big attractions is to go to one of our indoor ranges and shoot a fully automatic sub machine gun, which may be gone even sooner

or go visit Las Vegas Silver and Pawn, home of the reality show Pawn Stars

Thanks for the info. Keep em coming!

Texag I wish I was going to be there for the SHOT show. Went a few years back and then filmed a mountain lion hunt afterward. Good time. Lotsa neat stuff.

Going tomorrow with the wife for a couple of days. Looking forward to hitting our favorite 'off the strip' restaurant. Spanish Tappas called Firefly. A local friend of ours introduced us to this little gem!

Firefly is the hidden gem for Spanish tapas, craft cocktails, and a cozy atmosphere just off the Strip. Bacon-Wrapped Dates, Aperol Spritz Towers, and more!

Sky Jump off the Stratosphere was a blast.

My wife and I shot machine guns and drove bulldozers! We liked the bulldozers best. Had dinner at delmonicos like we have every time I've been there. Great bone in ribeye and lobster bisque and excellent service! Rednecks in Vegas. Conceived our daughter there. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas is a scam!! Enjoy!!
