    Big change comin'

Just got back from dr. Got fluid behind left ear, which has caused me to be dizzy since christmas eve. But big kicker was my bp was 188/96. Told me i had to change the way i eat. Said if i didnt change soon, i was headed for a stroke or heart attack. Sooo, no more than a teaspoon of salt a day. No more sweet tea with sugar.

I cook with alot of spices, do yall know of any that are low in sodium? Thanks

Mrs Dash has some good ones. I had to go on meds for mine but have tried to cut down on the salt too.

Ragin Blaze and Mrs Dash.... Cut out all fried foods and get the sugar out of your diet. You will be amazed how fast you lose weight.

Pepper is your friend. If you just have to have salted foods use that Mrs. Dash stuff. That is some seriously high blood pressure. Did he put you on medicine?

Praying for you Sambo. Not sure on the sodium content on spices. I bet you can google that and get some good advice. Always remember....this is not our home. Just dont deprive yourself and cut out bacon or cholesterol...you know the good stuff!! all in moderation brother!! and dont worry about weight....just control your waist size. Too much salt and sugar is never a good thing to fill your body up with. Lots of natural sweet things out there.

RB has 135 mg of Sodium , no MSG , and was specifically blended for those watching their diets who want to eat more healthy

other Seasoning companies advertise 310 and 350 mg of Sodium

throw a little exercise in the mix (walking in the evening, climbing multiple flights of stairs, nothing too strenuous to get started with)
