Where do you live man? I'm just east on 1863 in Oak Village North. I hunt here and there on my in laws 20 acres, Bulverde is THICK with deer.

I'm in a real rocky part. I have 8 acres, but have access to the neighbor behind me if I want. There's a bunch of doe at my place and some scrub bucks. Saw one heavy 8 once on cam, but that was it.

Yeah, not much different from my in-laws on there 20 acres up Beck Rd on that huge hill. I have some 150" deer in my neighborhood that'll dang near eat outa my hand... but... that's not hunting.

Maybe not 150, but seriously 140. A buck that close, that big looking at you in the face can make you exaggerate some, but you'll see what I mean when you see some of the pics I send.

My sister lives off Smithson Valley Rd. I'll ask her if she knows of anyone. No hunting on her property or adjoining property due to Landowners Association.

Welcome to the area, Tek. I live on Smithson Valley Road south of the high school. I have always been interested in finding something close as well. I will keep you in mind if I ever bump into something. Like CleanShot said, there are some very respectable deer that move in and out of these subdivisions and grow old by doing so. I know a guy that had a lease where they killed 2 or 3 deer over 130 several years ago, but the place is not available anymore. Good luck to you and Merry Christmas.

My back fence is shared with the Bracken's ranch. I'm not sure how many acres are back there, but I'd love to get permission from them to just jump my fence and pop a critter or two.

I'm in rim rock. There is 60 acres right behind me that I've been trying to lease for years. If we had a Group it might make it easier.
