I've always wanted to look for stuff like that but have no idea what signs to look for. Any tips or advice?

Try dry creek beds water run offs near river or creek sometimes you'll notice round bare ground in several spot where Indians would move their tipis to higher or lower ground depending on flood they say they usually would place tipis in exact same spot hints the bare ground in circles next to eachother many people have their own ideas that's just hearsay good luck

Like some have said look for dry spots. We also look for what we call "Indian Rocks" or rocks that have been placed in a fire. You'll notice a difference in the physical make up of these rocks compared to other "normal" rocks. Usually in close proximity to these rocks is where we find points.
