    Bow string turning Matthews

Got a Matthews drenalin about 4 years old with the original string and the string keeps turning about 90 degrees after each shot. Does anyone know why, should I replace the string. I heard this is commen on Matthew bows??

It's common on all bows. Go to bow shop and have him put in a press and rotate it or replace the string if it's worn. If you replace it, you probably will have the same issue after a 100 shots and the string settles in.

Im not sure how often you shoot, but at 4 years, shooting an average amount, it may be time for a new string. You may be able to put a twist in the string or turn your d-loop to make it line up again.

I put a new string on a new bow and it took awhile to get it to stop twisting, had to "train" it over and over but finally got it right.

This is common on most bows and can be solved by twisting your string 1/2 turn in the direction you want your peep to turn. The string must have been on the bow long enough to settle in and stop stretching. Once it is set you can make up a small amount of peep turn with the D-loop. The only draw back is you will need some sort of press for the string turning.
