We have seen a few the first week of Spring turkey season.I would think most are done by the middle of this month.

Our deer in Dimmit county (South TX) don't start shedding until late March and are usually done by April 15th. It varies a bit year to year and deer to deer.

I agree with Tuthdoc. S Tx I've seen some in mid April still attached but they'll start falling around 3rd week of March down here.

My bad Peyton. Please accept my apologies. I knew I agreed with one of those knowledgeable S Tx guys Ya'll both have blue skies behind your bucks in your avator. If it's any consolation, you're better looking.

We've already started to find sheds in Medina County... and Webb county is just a little later than that.

It can depend on nutrition as well... I know of a place in boerne that has a bunch of exotics... the landowner decided he was going to just stop feeding one year... the whitetail were starving... and they started shedding in December.

This true, we had good rain fall and lots of acorns so the horns will fall alittle later this year. Two weeks ago we had to unlock two bucks, one dead already, this was in a high fence with plenty of protien, a week later on my lease less than 10 miles away I saw two deer with one antler shed already.
