    Duck hunting ??

We have a small stock pond about 3 acres in size covered in duck moss that we've consistently killed ducks off of. Two man limit at 7 this morning and as we were gathering gear I counted at least 50 ducks still trying to land. My question is how long do you give a small spot like that before you hunt it again.

Chance's are the birds could blow off the hole with the next front (thursday). I would hunt while the hunting is good. I would normally let a hole rest a few days IF I had other area's to rotate too.

And we dug a big pond about 10 acres we see a few ducks on it here and there. Is there anything you can plant in the off season to draw them in that won't take it over. Also how would I go about brushing in a blind where there's no cover to brush it into.

Im From MP too, but moved to central tx. Hunting small ponds we would always let set a few days and only hunt ponds in the morning. All the big water around there they have so many options of other places to go, weekends was always better too cuz more hunters pushing birds off lakes. Good luck

I always let my 6 acre pond rest a week. I only do that though because I can only hunt weekends. I think a few days-week is good. I'm hoping this cold front brings birds in. Had about 150 on it before the first cold front, then 75 after that. Hoping they don't leave.

coffin blinds, this is in a cow pasture, no cover for nothing. They work great for these situations.
