If they have reason then no not an abuse. F it is determined they did not have reason they will pay the price

I have the video recorded and will be viewing later. On a side note, you'd be surprised at what all can be hidden there. We arrested a girl ince for shoplifting and the female officer felt something there and asked the girl. The girl denied anything being there so officer reaches in, grabs it and slowly pulls it out, much to the pleasure of the arrestee. It was priceless seeing the officer's face, actually it was gross but, well anyway, it looked as if she was a swashbuckler with a toy sword.

Im pretty sure I would side with the Trooper...the smell of pot is pretty distincive..and they consented to the search...

If that were my wife or daughter, there wouldn't be a full cavity search on the side of the road. Arrest somebody and take them to jail if it's warrented, but it ain't happening on the side of the road. And if the officer insists that it WILL be done there, he/she won't have a job for long. Violated is an understatement. Just WOW!
