Get my son in a bow blind with bow in hand!!! He always said, "I like to hear the boom of my 7mm-08 as and smell the gunpowder after a shot, I dont want to bowhunt!" We'll I don't know what got into him but a few weeks ago he said he wanted to start shooting his bow, got it tuned up and he started flinging arrows. Stuck a javi in his second hunt and now all he wants to do is go sit in a stand. He thinks morning hunts are over rated and prefers to hunt in the afternoon which allows me to sit in the mornings, but it seems that every hunt I sit with him (in the afternoons)the big boys come out!!!! I am not letting him shoot a buck until he gets his doe out of the way!!
