I love the 6.8 spc! Ive been using 110 grain Accubonds

Its a prefect gun for my daughter who just turned 6
We practice with the .223 for cheap shooting, then 2 pins and switch upper and we are ready to go hunting, I have the same scope and rings on both, so it feels the same
She is shooting 2-3 inch groups at 100 with both
The doe was about 80 yards, buck was 100, i shot the cat because she couldnt see it clearly in the brush at about 200

6.5 out performs all ar15 calibers ballistics wise. In ar10 go with 308 or 6.5x284. Absolute beast of a round. I saw it shot at 1000 recently and I'm in love

6.5 GRENDEL by far are the best ballistics but the 6.8 is a very close second. the 6.5 is flatter faster and the most accurate.

just do your own research to find what fits your hunting needs

The 6.5 grendel needs barrel length to acheive its performance, and the AR platform was built for shorter barrels. 6.8 was designed totally around a16" bbl making it ideal over the 6.5G.

Ammo availability for 6.8 is better too. If you dont want ssa, find hornady due to small rifle primer developing more pressure than remington large rifle primer making higher velocities from hornady.

well I just shot my 6.8 for the first time. shot at 50 yards as thats all I could do for the time being. I put it 1 inch high so according to my ballistics app I should be dead on at 200. It shoots great, but I know now that I will be buying an aftermarket trigger. THat 6-9lb pull just dont cut it for a guy used to 1 to 2lbs. it was grouping cloverleaves at 50.
