    I need a Hard case for a scoped AR15....Options???

I am looking for a good hard case for a scoped flat top AR.
Something around $100. I have found some for long rifles, but not an AR.

    What's available?
    Thanks

They are nice, I looked at them. I just have a hard time spending that much on a case. It may be what I go with, cause I have not found anything else that I like.

A hard case ( Storm , Pelican, etc.... ) is basically "insurance" or added security in case you drop it or fly via airline travel

I've got a 20 yr old Pelican case that has protected my rifles on numerous occasions. Buy it once and it will last a lifetime.

Between your AR and optics, I'm guessing you have over $1000 invested. I've never seen a $100 gun case that will protect your investment like a Pelican or Storm

USA Shooting shotgun, rifle, and pistol all carry their guns overseas in Storm hard cases. I would go with them or Pelican

I went with a pelican. Went online and found cases by raz. Best price and he is in greater Austin. So I was able to save shipping. The cool thing is that he will make a custom insert for your case. That will be my next upgrade.

I have a skb for my bow and it seems pretty sturdy too.

                  Me too.

If you have a carbine length with an adjustable stock they fit perfect into a take down case.

I use guitar hard cases. They work great. Sometimes you may have to trim the foam. Usually i can fit 2 rifles (with scopes) in one case, plus ammo and clips.

Plano Gun Guard is a reasonable case around $130
