    San Antonio Steak Houses...Which One?

Taking my better half out to eat sat night for her birthday. We've been to Foga de Chao and Ruth Chris, both were good but just wondering if there are any others y'all feel are better or worth trying. Looking for something comparable to these. Thanks.

I know no better steak house than ruth chris.

we go to a place called mavericks south of SA on 181. BUT it is nothing like ruths chris.. doesnt even compare!

BUT, it is good food for a good price (40 bucks) for the wife kid and I... and a few beers. fits my budget better than ruth chris once a week. as much as I would like to.

Grey Moss Inn- It is out in the country, very romantic. Good food and atmosphere, had our 3rd anniversary there. It's near Helotes but worth the drive.

My favorite is Boudro's on the river walk.

The blackened prime rib is my favorite steak anywhere. The place is a little pricey (menu's on the website), but well worth it in my opinion. Guacamole is a must as well.

Absolutely the best in town. Get the Akaushi ribeye.
