Call Matthew McWilliams and Smoke. If that deer can be caught, they will catch him.

Go try and track that deer. If there is good blood on arrow- blood on the spot of the shot- then probably dont need dog unless he knows he made a marginal hit- even then you may not need a dog.

It was late and deer and shot was forward! Followed it to neighboring property this morning which was 200yds away. I have learned this lesson the hard way myself some time ago. We have permission from neighbor , just think a dog would be best. Not alot of blood from what Im told. We will see!

This isnt my buddys first Rodeo, nor mine. I appreciate the response, but he wants a dog. He called and asked me to try and locate a dog, so thats what Im doing. He went through the whole hunt with me. Id have to agree.

He NEEDS to contact Matt McWilliams at 325-456-0773. Details don't sound too good to me (hit forward, lots of blood, 200 yards, neighbor). Don't know if Matt will take it since it sounds like a small place but he is your BEST bet to get that deer.
