Find at least one calling partner. I have a lot more success when I have an extra set of eyeballs (or two) watching for the approach. I still call solo a lot because it's hard to match schedules; but my success rate goes up when I have a partner or two. This is especially true of bobcats, in my experience.
I would recommend getting Tony Tebbe's video on calling predators: http://predatoruniversity.com/predu/...lling_DVD.html It's not going to make you an expert caller, but it's the best running start you'll find without being personally taught by an experienced caller. His website is a great resource but I'd suggest joining http://www.predatormasters.com to ask questions and get advice on anything predator related- it's the GS for hunting predators.
