Rangers lose another

It appears that the Rangers are gonna lose another pitcher they were looking at. Looks like the royals are gonna get shields. A trade appears to be going thru that would send shields and wade Davis to the royals.

i think they are gonna go after Dickey now. who knows. if they could get Upton or another outfielder then i think the rotation may be ok as is.

Adrian Beltre was signed late in the free agency period and has turned out okay....

I'm just glad they took the decision-making out of Wash's hands by trading away Michael Young.

Not sure they are sitting on their hands. Offers may have been made, but rejection happens.

Wouldn't shock me at all if he is a Ranger before Christmas. Jon Daniels is going to pull the trigger on something and it'll bring a stud to the rotation. I personally think it'll be David Price or Felix Hernandez. I know King Felix hasn't been mentioned much but I just don't see the Mariners resigning him when he comes due that massive contract and the Rangers have the prospects to get him. Only time will tell.

i am not sure the rays will trade Price now that they traded Shields. the Mariners are not gonna trade Felix. i wish they would, but they will pay him whatever he wants.

Surely King Felix is tired of finishing in last place every year in Seattle. Even if they could make the top offer, another team could get very close and give him the opportunity to play in the post season. Hopefully that team will be the Rangers. I'd be happy with David Price, too.
