Headin to junction this wed. For the first time this year due to work. Hoping to get my uncle on his first buck ever. Anyone have any info on the rut progress in the area. Supposed to be a pretty big front pushin through on monday, hopin it sets them off if they arent already rutting. Any info would help!

We're 10 miles north of Junction and we've only seen signs of the rut in the smaller bucks. Last weekend there were still does with fawns at their sides and uninterested bucks eating hand corn right along side mature does and other bucks. I can't imagine that it's December the 8th and the primary rut hasn't come yet. If it already has, it was very soft this year where we are. -

I'm in Mt Home not too far east of Junction and the primary seems to be done. They seem to be grouping back up. Young bucks are only ones chasing because they dont know the deed is already done.Comment
