Thinking of getting the kids a gaming station for Christmas. You know, so they can play games and maybe the ole man can join in and do one of them hunting games or something. Any recommendations? ps3, Xbox,etc.....

It depends... they both have wifi but to play live on xbox you have to pay for it but its better, ps3 you get free live but its always crashing or lagging... ps3 also has blue ray where xbox doesn't... this is like mathews and hoyt both are good its just preference... me personally its the 360Comment

How old are the kiddos and what kind of games do you expect to play? (other than the hunting stuff?) Younger ones do well with the Wii and it's cheap.
Everyone likes the Xbox, especially with the kinect.
The PS3 has a built in BlueRay...

I have both but i play my PS3. But its all a matter of choice. I would personally go to the store or go online and look at all the games that each one offers and then choose which system has the more of the games your kids will play. I will also say that the kenict on the xbox is a ton of fun thats why i bought mine.Comment

there is a deal right now on the 360 with connect combo.
my bro in law has all the gaming consoles ever made. he doesnt play the ps3. he just uses it for blue ray because xbox is better (in our opinions).
I have a blue ray player. and i have an xbox. game play on xbox live is 20 times better than the free live you get with playstation. not even fun to play. you get what you pay for.
