Poll - sit in same stand all day or move around

So next two days I am in cass county hunting. Trail cams havent shown a pattern or a reason to hunt one stand over another. As y'all know front comes in Monday (naturally day after I leave). weather kinda sucks right now but cooler here than in austin So in yalls experience would you sit in one stand all day and another the next or split the day between two stands - stay in this one til 12 and move to another for the rest if the day? History hasn't shown a preference off mornings and afternoons on these stands either. I guess this is bad thing about having so many stands - hunt one and wish you were at the other

Your rolling the dice either way. Pick the one with the most recent traffic and be patient.

It depends on activity.....if I was seeing movement in one stand I would stay, but if it is dead, I would move every 3 hours or so.

If wind isn't a factor and there is no preference I'd go with gut feeling. Stay till I'm wanting a change in scenery. Keep hoping that deer your after walks out any moment, and enjoy being in the deer woods! Good luck! Hope to see some pics!

What works best for me is to make my mind up what stand I wanna hunt on a specific hunt a.m. or p.m., then do opposite of what I was plannimng on doing from the get go.

Wind is not an issue and unfortunately there is no pattern at all to remotely come up with a plan. I only get to hunt at this place once or twice a season so its tough being that my friend who owns the land isn't as obsessed with hunting as me My place in Caldwell county is a different story - I have that place figured out.

Been seeing deer move around 4:30 pm in Bowie county and late into the mornings, around 9-10:30. A buddy had a few does sneak up on him while he was headed out of the woods Wed. He said there was a nice buck in tow. This is the time of year I usally kill a good buck in NE Texas. Looks like the does are coming in again. Hard to pick a stand this time of year. Flip a coin.

I`ve got several ground blinds I use. Some are better morning. Some better evening. Some middle of the day. Plus wind conditions effect some locations. As I hunt the mountains,I move some. Always wanting to see what over there.
Have hunted a blind all day but not inclinded to "over-hunt" one.

Yep it is a roll of the dice. Last week I couldnt pattern one mature buck. They were here and gone. If you are seeing activity at the first stand I would stay at it the second day. By activity I dont mean just the same deer. If you are seeing different animals coming and going then stay. If you are not seeing much or are seeing the same animals then move.

Since I had to go back to truck to get charger moved to stand 2 - have seen nothing. Weather just ain't right. Monday temps will be down to 22. Wish I could be here then. Goya come up with a plan for tomorrow.

That sounds like a good idea! I am always second-guessing myself when it comes to which stand to hunt and my overthinking often costs me. For example I will sit a spot in the afternoon and see nothing. That night my internal dialogue goes like this:
                              * "Nothing is coming in at stand A, I'm hunting a Stand B in the morning!"
                              * " But then again, if they didnt come into stand A this afternoon, surely they will show up there in the morning"
                              * "yeah but I'm sick of staring at the same feeder, same rocks, same trees - I'm hunting stand B in the morning!
I then I see nothing at stand B, but cameras shows there was a deer parade at stand A.
