From this view, 4.5 is about all I can get out of it too. View of direct overhead would help.

Need to see the top to look at the dentin to be accurate but side view and the little bit of blunting shows 4.5. This just half a guess since portions of the puzzle are missing..

I don't see 3.5, but I can't get it to 5.5 either... The dentine is not wide enough in the 5th and 6th teeth, and the 3rd cusp of the 6th tooth has no slope. This jaw to me does have abnormal wear it appears. He does have some 5.5 characteristics, but the preponderance of all the evidence does not get me to 5.5, thus my estimate of 4.5. take a look at the PDF file I attached in my earlier post and I think you will see where my evaluation came from.
