Place to shoot in Lubbock?

Anybody know of a place to shoot a firearm in lubbock? It wouldn't need to be long range just a little ole .22 pistol.

There is an indoor range over around 50 th and Frankfort in that industrial park it used tobe patriot firearms not sure if that is still the name. That is the only public pistol range I know of at this time

That is the only indoor range in Lubbock.

Anywhere east of university. It will just blend in with all the other gunshots on that side of town!

its hard to find a place around lubbock to shoot long range. Let me know if you find one.

Fires burnt down my long range spot... Had tables, bowling pins, steel targets and target stands all the way out to 1000.....

ALL wooden, on our crp place.... All that was left was blackened steel targets

There is a Outdoor private range at the old slaton landfill for pistols but you have to be invited to join. There is another private range out on 179 south of wolforth but I do not think they are taking new members at this time and lastly I hear that the owner of sharp shooters is putting together a range over near Abernathy but I do not know when it is supposed to open

Playa no the range coach is talking about is not the one south of town. That one is still there their benches are cinder block with concrete tops. It used to max out at 200 but they are extending it out to 500 at this time

Just a farm in crp we call the north place... It's actually 1.5 hour drive from Lubbock... But it was a lot closer to my parents house... our personal range since I was a kid... Learned to shoot there. Sad deal.

I am seriously considering this. Is that indoor range free or how much does it cost? I would rather just go knock on some doors instead of pay to shoot, thats against this country boys upbringing .

You really appreciate living in the country when you have a new gun in town but can't shoot the thing, when out in the country all you got to do is step out the back door.
