What is this?

I guarantee that it is the tail of a dove in flight. I am too lazy to look up a picture, but that is what it is, you can see the feathers and the band on the tail.

Well then, although it really looks like a snout it must not be since he would probably have hung around to eat. If it is a coon or ringtail it is just past the depth of the feeder and in either care it is running away. If it is a tail i believe it is to long for a coon

It is going away.The tail is on the ground. The coons head is looking to the right so the long dark is a combo of dark stripe on his tail and dark stripe on side of his face and you can see his ears.

That is a doves tail feathers all spread out from landing or taking off. I get lots of those type pics, except my cudde had them centered in the pic.

The more I look at it, I can see it might be a deer nose, or maybe turkey tail feathers. Since we don't have turkey on our lease, I guess I'll have to go with a deer nose. If it is, it's much closer the the camera than I thought it was.
I can't make out the raccoon some have mentioned.

I pulled the card out of my Covert Black Oops camera this morning. Gander and Smokeless were right, it was a deer nose, but better than that, it is the nose of a nice buck. I don't think I've ever seen this buck before.
